Liars and Damn lies

i have been away for about a month or so. But am back.
Every things important around here in Nairobi has been given the a wideberth by our media house. The reason as i can guess is election fever and the forth estate is raking awesome windfall from it. Life is boring and suffocating for most of us who are not caught by the election bug.

It amazes me from our-would- be leaders, is that none is really asking for our contribution as to what is need to be rectified or fix in next five years. They have second guess us- promising heaven! In my view as commuter from my humble abode in Umoja, i would ask the leaders to think about the low income earners who earns a wage. The cost of travel has tremedous increased as a result of Michuku Rules and never expanding transport infrastructure. This means that the low income earner is compelled to use public transport means that charges way about his income. The leaders should advocate for the relaxation of the Michuku Rules so that those who can afford to stand in PSV are charged less compared to those who opt to sit. In other words, the leaders should adopt a structural approach in addressing the diverse commuter needs.
